\nAt CALACS L\u2019Ancrage, you can take part in the fight against sexual violence in various ways. You can get involved in meetings, committees or simply by stating your support of CALACS.<\/p>\n
Active members are allowed to attend general meetings, vote at them, and be eligible for positions on the Board of Directors. All active members must meet the following conditions:<\/p>\n
Any person who wants to become an active member must submit a\u00a0request<\/a>\u00a0(in French only) to the Board of Directors, which determines acceptance at a regular meeting.<\/p>\n Form for becoming an active member (PDF)<\/a>(in French only)<\/p>\n\t\t\tSupportive members<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t Supportive members may attend general meetings without the right to vote and without being eligible for positions on the Board. All honorary members must meet the following conditions:<\/p>\n Activism is defined by chosen actions to foster social change or preserve gains, and relies on the values of equality, rights defence, equity between the sexes and non-violence, as part of a process to reclaim individual and collective power.<\/p>\n Activism with CALACS L\u2019Ancrage means embodying the organization\u2019s values while taking action on the issue of sexual violence.<\/p>\n All activist contributions, regardless of the form they take, are important and appreciated.
