In this work, CALACS L\u2019Ancrage also aims to foster the involvement of activists within the organization.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Rights Committee<\/h2>\n<p>A Rights Committee formed of CALACS L\u2019Ancrage activists organizes a number of awareness-raising activities. Among other things, the committee is active in the following events:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Day of Action on Sexual Violence Against Women;<\/li>\n<li>12 days of action to eliminate violence against women, including December 6, the commemoration of the Polytechnique massacre;<\/li>\n<li>March 8, International Women\u2019s Day;<\/li>\n<li>And more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To join the Rights Committee, <a href=\"https:\/\/calacslancrage.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/DEMANDE_DADHESION_MEMBRE_ACTIVE.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">click here<\/a> (in French only).<\/p>\n\t<h2>Social justice work<\/h2>\n<p>Women\u2019s rights must be defended individually, socially and politically.<\/p>\n<p>CALACS L\u2019Ancrage takes part in a range of actions and endeavours (letters, petitions, protests, research and studies, and more) dealing with social justice issues.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Coalition-building and representation<\/h2>\n<p>For CALACS L\u2019Ancrage, it is of prime importance to create and consolidate ties with fellow community organizations, other CALACS and the women\u2019s movement. To do this, it takes part in a number of coalitions and representations.
